I really love how life has that funny way of guiding you right where you're supposed to be, even when it's difficult to see at first. I loved reading this! 🥹Thank you for being such a big part of making this era so special.
might be a little bit woowoo but i’m a firm believer in the fact that the universe will intervene and direct you to where you’re supposed to be exactly when you’re meant to be there and this whole post feels like proof of that – i feel like it’s always when you feel like you’re in a rut that something comes along and reminds you of just how much more there is waiting for you that you wouldn’t expect. glad you found your spark again and it’s so cool to see if manifest itself in all these brilliant ways 🤍
Well now I’m crying reading this-how incredibly vulnerable and beautifully worded, Elise. I use to listen to each of your podcast episodes and loved every one of them. I know what it feels like to feel like you lost yourself-I went through that a bit with postpartum. Hope you continue the podcast and I’m so glad you’ve got your sparkle back! Thanks for sharing! <3
This was a beautiful post that I needed to read right now. Thank you for sharing. Hell yeah to the power of women! the power of friends! the power of art! and how lucky we get to witness and experience all three while earthside.
i related so much to what you wrote about depression, creativity and finding your way back to yourself. sometimes those pauses feel endless while you're in them but reading this was a beautiful reminder that growth is still happening beneath the surface.
there's something really special about the way everyone involved seems to have left a piece of themselves in this project. you can genuinely feel that in everything that's been created around ego death at a bachelorette party and i think that's a big part of what makes this era so meaningful. the visual world you've built around it has been especially inspiring to me.
i don't think i realized how much this era would impact me creatively. it has genuinely helped me trust my creative instincts and reconnect with parts of myself that i'd lost touch with. it's also helped me stop putting so much pressure on myself to have everything figured out and simply enjoy creating again.
thank you for sharing such an honest reflection. 💛
We didn’t know that H’s work could get better…until it did. It is the amazing support behind it, you and the whole gang. The real Dream Team. Thank you, Elise!
Do you have any tips for becoming a creative director? I’m starting my freshman year of college and one of my dream careers is becoming a creative director! Your words really inspired me and you’re absolutely killing it 💗
I found you through Hayley’s album cycle and them talking about how you came up with the Kill Me harmony (which I think you need a writing credit for!!). Almost every single time I have seen something in the visuals for EDAABP that has captured me enough to go check who made it, it’s been by you. You have an incredible eye for this, and I can’t wait to see what else you create, regardless of who for or what medium it is!❤️
“The sparkle is back bitches" would go crazy on a tea-mug, first of all. Thank you so much for sharing this Elise - ... Idk, reading this gave me hope that I'll creep out of obscurity into perfect alignment. I guess one tear/crashout/hangout at a time and somehow in the midst of all of that, a cooler "sparkly" version of me will emerge. (She probably peaked out at Night 1 in LA amidst the "what in the living fuck i'm doing here" lyrics i belted out)
PS: The entire trajectory of the “HW” brand is a whole lot wholesome because you’re in it & that’s because of the heart you possess - never change it. You inspire so many without knowing it.

how dreamy to create and also watch the people you love create in their own respective ways to ultimately make something so beautiful!
You’re killing it!! I’m so excited to see what the next tour aesthetic will look like. Already loving all the lace
